label owner and radio personality dedicated to the promotion
of electronic music worldwide, JD Turbine defiantly stomps
the line between electro, tech, breaks, minimal, progressive
and house with his genre-bending mixes; a style he has dubbed
Digiprana Sounds.
Founded by JD in 2006 and experienced through his weekly
broadcast on 90.3FM in New York, as well as Sirius Satellite
radio, Digiprana has become JD’s gateway to the global
underground. The past year has seen Turbine steadfastly
build his reputation at home and abroad with dynamic live
performances in England, Miami, Canada, Baltimore, Puerto
Rico and at home in New York City.
JD Turbine’s international sound has expanded on
its broadcast and club roots and can now also be experienced
through releases on JD’s new label Digiprana Records.
Launched in September 2007, Digiprana features an array
of tracks including Turbine’s original productions,
remixes and collaborations, as well as cuts from producers
both established and new, all selected by Mr. Digiprana
himself.
